Temporary & Substitute Staff
On occasion, Carol Morgan School (CMS) has openings for positions that are needed to support short-term project, temporary, and substitute needs. These positions are recruited for in the Dominican Republic as well as through non-teaching spouses. All of these positions are considered local hire and benefits provided can include law medical insurance, law pension plan with actual benefits being defined at the time of hiring. While these positions are not permanent, we seek to fill these positions with outstanding, innovative, and creative individuals who believe in our school’s approaches, beliefs, and values for our learning community.
When recruiting to fill positions, our focus is on the local candidate who is the right match in terms of experiences, skills, and beliefs aligning with our learning environment. All of these positions are filled through local hire (LH) candidates meaning that the candidate lives, resides, and/or is interviewed and recruited in the Dominican Republic. For support staff, the local law applies in relation to terms and benefits of employment.
• Fully bilingual
• Teaching experience and certification are preferred
• Dependable, flexible, enjoys and can work effectively with children and adolescents
Those who fill this position are called daily as needed or possibly for an extended time period as agreed upon.
TEMPORARY OFFICE SERVICE
• Fully bilingual English & Spanish (oral and written)
• Experience working in office settings and with clients
• Ability to handle computer programs
The individual who fills this position will be called as needed or for projects such as Spring Fest
