When recruiting to fill positions, our focus is on the local candidate who is the right match in terms of experiences, skills, and beliefs aligning with our learning environment. All support staff positions are filled through local hire (LH) candidates meaning that the candidate lives, resides, and/or is interviewed and recruited in the Dominican Republic. For support staff, the local law applies in relation to terms and benefits of employment.
Education and Experience
CMS identifies in each support staff posting the education, certification, or credential requirements for each position.
Salaries are based on the requirements of each position and are considered competitive for Santo Domingo.

A bilingual secretary position is open in the Maintenance Department.
The requirements for the position are:
Fully bilingual English and Spanish (oral and written)
Competent with computer programs, especially Word, Excel and accounting software
Administration or Engineering student or Secretarial studies preferable
Previous relation with purchasing, secretarial and customer service experience
Working hours are scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:30 a. m. to 4:30 p.m.
Substitute Teacher, Instructional Assistant and Office support (to cover people absent and pay by day for the work done)
Requirements for the temporary position:
- Fully bilingual
- Competencies related to the field of application
- Previous experience with similar position
